Wiz fall to Team 2 by 1 in a thriller

The wiz have now lost 4 straight. The final minute consisted of a clutch 3 by Merritt to get the game within 1. Free throws by a Team 2 player were missed. The final 20 seconds had Wray missing a three, a foul at the other end, another missed shot by Wray. In the final six seconds Denbo got the ball off the inbound but was tightly covered and had no hope but to pass to Wray who heaved up a shot at the buzzer. No good. The wiz were lead by Merritt who had 10 Points and 3 boards, and Denbo with 5 Points and 3 Assists. Center Gabe Kirk picked up a bucket but had a good amount of TOs. Nick Bowers struggled from the floor but had a team high 5 rebounds. There was plenty of fouls to go around, featuring Bowers, Merritt, Patrick Henry and Navratil. Also, Pat Henry had a nice layup after an offensive rebound. Jesse Wray had a nice bucket. Wish the wiz luck next week vs. Team 3.
